Brody would be murdered later in the year in Puerto Rico. Mantell says that was the end of their issue. Other wrestlers and security had to separate the two from each other. Wright allegedly sucker punched Brody and the two immediately got into a scuffle. Brody had no clue who he was and began to walk away. Dutch Mantell recalled how hungry and ambitious Wright was to make it in the business. In late 1987/early 1988, Charles Wright was in training to become a pro wrestler. It just all kept piling up, it all kept mounting and mounting I didn’t know how to handle it. Hogan said, “Everything got dark, everything happened at once. Hulk said be began to drink heavily to deal with all the issues that were surrounding him. His marriage to wife Linda was beginning to crumble, his son was involved in a serious car crash and faced jail time and his family’s reality show ‘Hogan Knows Best’ got cancelled. Hulk Hogan revealed that he became suicidal in 2007 after a number of unfortunate incidents occurred.
